Open Handbook #

  • The Open Handbook project is a free, open-source handbook for student writers. The project was originally written in LaTeX but is now pure html. The project code is hosted at GitHub.

  • Pilcrow — a bespoke encrypted journal application for Linux.

  • Gesso — a clean, minimal course management platform for writing instructors. Built to replace Canvas LMS.

  • Gesso Lite — a stripped-down version of Gesso that focuses on assignment-based bulk download and return of student work.

  • The Noticing Project — a project that allows you to claim a single spot on Dartmouth’s campus, return to it all term, and record what you notice — in writing, photos, sound, and video.
